• Newcomer Strategy for Pai Gow Poker

Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with ancient ancestry. Founded on the ancient Chinese tile game and the modern American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the far east with the wild west in a wonderful game for new gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player versus the dealer, not like the majority of other poker games that players bet against other gamblers. By wagering against the dealer, beginning players do not need to worry about any other, more experienced people winning their moolla.

A further Pai Gow benefit is the fairly leisurely game pace, novices should be able to take their time and scheme while not having to make hasty choices.

It’s also simpler to gamble on for a long time with just a small amount of cash seeing as, to not win, each of your hands must be under each of the houses hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the regular 52-card common deck and one joker. The gambler is given seven cards face up and the house gets seven cards faces hidden.

One 5 card hand and one 2 card hand need to be put together from the seven cards, the 5 card hand has to be stronger than the two card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand values to be larger than the houses.
