• Poker Aces – learning to wager them

    [ English ]

Poker Aces refers to two aces being dealt pre-flop. It is the best possible pre-flop hand intexas hold’em Poker. But despite this a great many gamblers end up on the wrong end when given these cards.

When you are dealt a pair of Aces, you just do not drop out pre-flop. You are sitting with the best possible hand at this part of the round. So how do you wager with Poker Aces ? Do you actually go all-in? I’d say definitely no to that.

Keep in mind, you are trying to produce as much money out of this strong position. You want to maximize the opportunity. Going all-in will actually scare most competitors into dropping out and not making a wager.

If you are in the initial position (first or 2nd to wager), you will make a single bet. Anyone with good cards will call, with hope somebody may raise. If there has been a raise don’t spring to re-raise or call, wait for a short while – make them think you’re considering your options and then call.

Following the flop your course of action will be to eliminate anyone that could be able to get a straight or a flush. So I would start to raise aggressively, if you’re fortunate you will fool one player into believing that you are tricking.

If you are in the middle or late spot (near the last to place a wager) you will observe as every player calls and then raise. Even with you sitting with a pair of aces, if possible try to avoid a show-down. Guard your hand by making the other players drop out after the flop. If you do not abolish your opponents you risk squandering your hand.
